The Story

We set out alongside former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and researchers who sought to understand how racism is deeply ingrained in our institutions and how that affects people of color across the south. The findings were a combination of profound and totally expected.

Production took us through most of the Southeast United States. Stopping and interviewing people in both large urban cities and rural communities about how they feel racism is present in today’s society.

The findings were released in a study labeled: Divided by Design. Explore all the content and understand the depths of what they discovered.

The task from the client was to gather footage for an unscripted documentary. Production covered it’s bases, kept organized, and ultimately produced over 15 videos.

Here are a few.

All that info. What Next?

Obviously collecting information changes nothing. The group formally introduced the information to the public and announced ongoing development. Checkout  E Pluribus Unum to see how they plan to leverage their findings.

We covered the event and saw our work fulfill its need in informing the audience of the data and people we discovered during production.
